History of Bhangbaria Union

The present Bhangbaria Union was formed under Chuadanga subdivision of first Nadia district around 1875 during British rule. At that time the Chairman of the Union was called Union Panchayat. During the Pakistan regime, the post of President was announced as the title of Union Chairman. At present Bhangbaria union is formed by combining 15 small and big villages.
